Sobre Nosotros

En el corazón del fútbol local, nuestro club ha sido la fuerza impulsora detrás del crecimiento del deporte en Luisiana. Llevamos adelante un legado construido por quienes vinieron antes que nosotros, impulsados por su visión y pasión. Somos más que un club de fútbol: somos una familia, una tradición y la piedra angular del fútbol en la región del Bayou.

Ofrecemos los siguientes programas:​

  • Programa para niños de 3 años

  • Fútbol Recreativo: 5U-10U

  • Fútbol Competitivo/De Viaje: 11U-19U

​Dependiendo del número de inscripciones, podemos ofrecer fútbol recreativo de 10U a 19U. Esto generalmente requiere que alguien forme un equipo completo para inscribirse.

Unlike many other countries, here in the United States, soccer was not popular and like some countries was not funded by the government. We had to build it on our own. Today that is still true. We are a self-funded non-profit. We have a volunteer Board of Directors and two employees. The fees pay for goals, nets, grass cutting, paint, flags, mandated insurance, and much more. Soccer is also complex here in the United States. We have governing bodies, specifically Louisiana Soccer Association, which is under US Soccer Federation. However, we must take care of our stuff, depend on mayny volunteers to help, and donations from local companies. Running a soccer club here is expensive. However, not nearly as expensive as other states.

COSTS & FINANCIAL AID INFO

Are you curious as to how much it will ALL cost to play soccer with Bayou Soccer Club? There are 2 seasons per year, Fall and Spring. You don't have to pay for both at the same time. Here is a breakdown of potential costs depending on if you already have some of the equipment:

Recreational Soccer:

Registration Fee: $85/season.

Uniform: $19.75+ Tax and Shipping.

The jerseys are required but you can buy any navy blue shorts and socks, Nike shorts/Socks not required.

Each player must have shinguards, cleats, and a ball (we may have extra balls so let us know).

So, navy shorts, navy socks, shinguards and cleats...

depending on player age and your shopping skills: $100 - $150

*Max Total Cost (first season): ~ $250.00

*After that (without having to replace something): $85.00

​

Competitive Soccer:

You cannot just register your child for competitve soccer. They are required to tryout for the team once they reach 11U. Tryouts are usually held in April for 11U and 12U and in May or June for 13U+. We post dates on Facebook and on our website under click "Programs" then click "Competitive". 

 

Costs:

Travel soccer is much more expensive than recrational soccer for multiple reasons. We cannot give you a max costs because there are so many variables. However, you can expect with at least 2 tournaments that require hotels stays, travel expenses, extra team fees, etc. You will easily surpass $1,000 per season. We also pay our Competitive Coaches because each of our competitive coaches are professionally licensed soccer coaches, which is a requirement for our club. We do offer financial aid but that will only cover the registration fees whcih are

$/season.

Registration Fee: $85/season.

We provide financial assistance to help cover up to 100% of registration fees. (Proof of Finances Required)
